At just 14 years old, Rodney Humphries landed a summer job that would set him on a path to a lifelong career — and eventually, make a dream a reality. Thanks to his first employer for encouraging him in this field, some incredible friends along the way, and tremendous customer support and loyalty, Rodney's journey has become nothing short of a true American dream.
🚀 The Beginning
Rodney's talent and drive allowed him to take a leap: quit his job one day and open his own business the next. By reputation alone, Rodney's Marine Center took off immediately. Within the first summer of 2013, the business outgrew its initial location, with boats arriving daily and customers lining up for Rodney's service.
📈 Rapid Growth
By year two, he added a small new boat line and began selling both new and used boats. Customers asked for boat storage, more boat options, and repowers, and the answer was clear — expand.
🌊 Full-Service Expansion
By year three, operations moved to 4 acres with water access, offering all these services and more. Now, over a decade later, Rodney's Marine Center, LLC is a full-service marine destination.
Our Journey
Launch & Immediate Success

Over a decade later, RMC provides sales, service, storage, and valet services. Proud Authorized Suzuki Dealer offering Suzuki Power on all new Starcraft Pontoons.
